Trip to Idaho

So we decided to venture to Idaho again and made sure the roads were going to be nice to us this time. We got some Christmas presents from my side. Natalie got like this huge doll. It is hilarious! It is like 3 times her size. We hung out with my family for a few days. It is pretty fun.

Hutch all organized

So I got my hutch all organized with all my nice stuff in it. It looks amazing. I am so glad my husband got it for me!

Don't mind the lawnmower on top. That thing is noisy so we sometimes put it out of reach LOL.

The kids both got letters from their grandma and grandpa for Christmas. They look awesome.

Nah they are like the sweetest little things ever but they sure know how to destroy a room fast. Oh well that is what happens when you have kids LOL.

Worst Day Ever!

So today we decided to go to Idaho for New Year's and so left in the morning and the roads got really icy and we slid around and broadsided a guardrail. Luckily we didn't do too much damage. We weren't that far down the road so we decided to turn around and go back home.

Not too bad for what we went through. Just glad we were safe and all.

Next thing that happened: Natalie got too close to the oven and burned both her little hands! So we took her to the ER and got her all bandaged up. We even had to take her in like every day for a while.

Can stacking

So one day I went into the kitchen and found this tower of cans sitting there. Daniel sure loves stacking things up. I can't believe he went this high with this one though!

Christmas

Well our day started out with Daniel crying because he got himself stuck under his bed. I do not know how he does that. He has to scoot and he has to be getting under there in his sleep. So we were up at 5 and got our presents opened and eat breakfast eaten. Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house to open presents there. We had church at 11 and the kids were pretty darn good there. We ate dinner afterward and then just spent the rest of the day at home hanging out.

Christmas Eve

Today we spend the day with Kyle's family and the kids run around and get into everything at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We get family pictures taken at the church and then have dinner. Later we go and look at lights. Then we watched Elf and the kids went to sleep at a good time and so we decided to crash early ourselves. Santa came early at our house.

We made brownies for Santa and let Daniel lick out of the bowl.

Natalie got her first tooth today! And guess what! It is one of her top teeth. How weird is that? I wish I could have gotten a picture but that girl is so stubborn that is hard for me to even look at it so pictures will have to wait.

Family Christmas Party

The kids and I made a trip to Blackfoot to go to the family Christmas party without Kyle because he had to work. They were great though. Daniel didn't sit on Santa's lap but he was sure eyeing him a lot. He loved helping with putting chairs away by pushing the stuff around. I am not sure if he was more help or more in the way! It was really nice to see my family and to visit.

Ward Christmas Party

We had our ward Christmas party and it was a dinner and Santa came. I had the kids sit on his lap and, of course, they cried. Oh well. Hopefully we will have better luck next year with Santa. During dinner Daniel had a bunch of girls following him around everywhere. It was kinda cute.

Thanksgiving 2011

We went to Blackfoot for Thanksgiving and it was a lot of fun. We went to my aunt's house for dinner and I saw a lot of cousins I haven't seen in a long time. One of my cousins, Jake, has a little boy a month younger than Natalie and he had one baby in each arm and they kept giving each other kisses. So cute! We got back to my parent's house and both kids crashed. Daniel took like a 4 hour nap! We stayed for a couple more days and went back home and on Sunday Natalie decided to walk across the living room without falling. She is officially walking! We are excited for her and she is so much more happier. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

Natalie turns 9 months

I can't believe our Natalie is already 9 months old! So far she has been standing without holding onto something for a couple of months now and she is taking a few steps at a time. She weighs almost 18 pounds and is 27 inches long. She is getting to be a big girl! Daniel and Natalie just love playing together and I love hearing them laugh while going down the hallway. They are the best of friends! Here is our dear Natalie just as cute as can be!

4th wedding anniversary

Today was our 4th anniversary! I can't believe it has been four years already. Kyle had the day off and his grandma offered to watch the kids while we went out for breakfast. How nice! Then he wanted to go to this hunting and fishing place where they were having a sale and saw a nice gun so we decided to get it for him. It is gonna be his Christmas/birthday/father's day/anniversary gift for the next two years! He is so okay with that.

These are the little monkeys just chilling. We love these kids so much. Daniel is talking a lot more now and is changing so much. Natalie is standing by herself now and taking some steps so she may be walking soon. They just grow up so fast. You have to cherish every moment.

Today we woke up to a lot of snow and so we got the kids their winter stuff on and let them go outside. Natalie isn't walking yet but she does stand alone so we also put boots on her feet. Daniel really enjoyed running around in the snow. He still needs to learn to not run in it but he will eventually.

It was just a bunch of flurries really but it snowed today so I decided to take the kids out to run around in the falling snow. Daniel just loves to be outside whether or not it was snowing. He also loves kicking the leaves around.

Halloween

The kids had a lot of fun this year for Halloween. Daniel had a bunch of costumes that he could use so he was a dragon for the trunk or treat on Saturday night and then superman for actual Halloween. Natalie was the cutest little pumpkin ever.

Dentist and Daddy

Daniel went to the dentist and he did pretty good. His teeth look awesome. I even decided to put the kids in shirts that said something about daddy on them and got some pictures. He is always jealous that a lot of their clothes say stuff about mommy so I did it just for him. Also I managed to put a ponytail in Natalie's hair and she looks so dang cute!

Me and the kids went to Idaho just to visit my parents and it was pretty fun. Kyle stayed home and worked. During the visit Natalie starting standing alone, letting go of things and just standing there. I love it that she is getting more mobile and daring. It will be awesome when she starts walking!

well Natalie is crawling now! She isn't even 7 months old so she is a fast mover! Also one evening Daniel had some sandwich cookies and he left some in Natalie's reach and she decided to have one. She really enjoyed it too!

Daniel turned two! He also had gotten his last tooth in so that is awesome. We had a birthday party at a park and his grandma, grandpa, great grandma and aunts and uncle were there to celebrate. Daniel loves playing at parks and it was just a nice day. Both the kids had a lot of fun.

Dillon Fair

Thursday we went to the Dillon fair and saw the animals and the rides. We wanted to see if Daniel was up for riding one and since he loves slides thought that he would like the fun slide. He kind of freaked out a little on the way down but he was okay. Maybe next year will be better with rides.

So this week Natalie has learned to go from stomach to sitting all by herself. I am so proud of her. She still hasn't gotten to be a pro at crawling but she sure gets around. She also is trying to pull herself up a lot too. Daniel, on the other hand, is always running around making messes everywhere. He is gonna turn two in 2 weeks. I can't believe how fast they grow. We are still waiting to see those last two teeth to pop through any day. I cannot wait until he gets them all in.

Daniel managed to climb into the walker and then couldn't get himself out again.

So today Kyle and I went into the hospital to have me induced and found out that I was already dilated to a four and I wasn't feeling a thing. Awesome! They induced me anyway and we had the baby by 3 pm.

January - A new apartment and a 4 month old

We found a nice three bedroom apartment a couple of weeks ago and decided to get it and moved in a week ago. It is really nice. In fact, Daniel has been going to bed by himself the past few nights. It is great to just put him in the crib and let him be. Also, he had his 4 month appointment and he weighed 16 pounds 10 ounces and was 26 inches long. He is such a big boy.

Train ride

Today I went on a train ride with my sister Liz and her two boys. This was the first time I have been on a train and it was fun. It rocked from side to side a bit but that was okay. The boys had lots of fun too. I took some pictures of the boys while we were waiting and then some on the train.
